Rick Armstrong MS, EP-C, CSCS
Rick Armstrong MS, EP-C, CSCS is the current State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Senior Lecturer/ Internship Director in the Department of Kinesiology at The University of Rhode Island. He has previously held positions as a Div. 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer, Director of Coaching and Fitness, Physical Instructor for law enforcement, and was a former collegiate athlete in baseball. He has also coached baseball at the high school level in both Rhode Island and Connecticut. Rick received his MS in Kinesiology from URI and a BS in Applied Exercises Science from Springfield College. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Exercise Physiologist Certified (EP-C) through the American College of Sports Medicine.

I offer a number of services to suite the need of each individual client. We create goals and objectives to meet your wants and needs, and perform an initial assessment to create a starting point. From their I create and individualized a training program and monitor your progress.
No matter where you are in life's journey there is a place for you to begin your quest for a healthier life. There is an exercise program for everyone! I will discuss what that plan looks like and tailor one to fit your specific needs. The individual comes first and the results will come later with hard work. I will help you to determine your goals and then make sure that you have the tools to reach them successfully.
